As per the official notification, Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released a notification for the post of Police Sub Inspector and the number of vacancies is 376 out of 666 and the rest vacancies for the post of STI and ASO.
MPSC PSI Admit Card 2021
Admit cards are generally released 10 – 15 days before the exam date. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of MPSC. Once the admit card is released, download the admit card as soon as possible to avoid a hassle at the last moment.
MPSC PSI Answer key
After the Prelims exam is conducted, the answer key will be uploaded to the official website (link is also provided here) and the same for the Mains exam. MPSC PSI Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants must fulfill all the below criteria for eligibility for this examination. If one is unable to fulfill any criteria mentioned below then those aspirants are unable to apply from. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
Nationality
- Aspirants must be Indian Citizens.
Age Limit
- The minimum age is 19 years and the maximum age is 31 years.
- For reserved category aspirants, the maximum age is up to 34 years
- Maximum age varies according to category.
Educational qualifications
- Aspirants must be a graduate and have pursued any degree from a recognised university under the Maharashtra Government.
- Aspirants who are in the final year of graduation are also able to apply for this post but their graduation must be completed before the preliminary exam.
- Knowledge of Marathi language .
Physical Standards
Physical requirements for the post of MPSC PSI are as follows-
For Male candidates
- The minimum height is 165 cm
- Measurement of Chest is 79 cm without expansion and able to expand 5 cm.
For Female candidates
- The minimum height is 157 cm.
- No chest measurements are required.
- Aspirants with disabilities are not eligible for this post.
MPSC PSI Result
- After the conducted prelims exam which is on 26 February 2022 (for 2021) result will be announced soon and also the date of other stages exam will be announced.
MPSC PSI Salary Structure
- Aspirants who are selected for the post of Police Sub Inspector In MPSC will receive an MPSC Subordinate Services salary of INR 38,600 to INR 1,22,800 per month including allowances like Dearness allowance and other allowances.

MPSC PSI Exam Pattern 2021
The selection process for the MPSC PSI recruitment for 2021 is a written exam that is divided into two parts such as prelims and mains. Both the written exams are different but aspirants must be qualified for proceeding to the next step of the selection process.

- Mains exam is divided into two papers i.e. Paper I and II.
- The total marks are 200
- The time allotted is 1 hour for both paper
- 1 mark awarded for the correct answer
- 0.25 marks were deducted for every wrong answer.
MPSC PSI 2021 FAQs
Generally, the admit card will be released before 10- 15 days of the exam on the official website. Once the admit card is released and by log in your registration number/roll number and password/date of birth and for more updates please connect with us.
The total mark is 100 for the MPSC PSI exam.
If you did not remember your password then click on Forget password on the page and then enter the date of the birth name and other details asking for filling and then, click on the “submit” button last of the page. Before tapping on the submit button, you must enter your E-mail Id at the vacant tab. A pin code number will be sent to your registered mobile number type that pin code at the vacant tab and then hit on the “recover” tab. A new page will be opened on your screen where your old password or ID will be written. Note that password or ID carefully and keep it safe.
The Aspirants who qualified MPSC PSI Stage 2 will be called for the third stage i.e Physical.
Aspirants need to carry documents like mark sheets of class 10 and 12 prelims and mains scorecard and all other educational mark sheets.
