Padma Awards 2023 Winners List: The Padma Awards, which come in three varieties (Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri), are among the highest honours given to Indian citizens. Many fields, including art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, business and industry, medical, literature and education, sports, and civil service, are recognised with awards. Padma Awards 2023 Winners List: FAQs
One dual case and 119 Padma Awards have been approved for presentation by President Ram Nath Kovind. The list includes 102 Padma Shri Awards, 10 Padma Bhushan Awards, and 7 Padma Vibhushan Awards.
On January 26, Republic Day, the Padma Awards are announced every year.
The President of India presents the Padma Awards at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan the same year in the months of March/April.
Padma Awards are one of India’s highest civil awards. Padma Awards come in three forms -Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri.
The Padma Shri Award’s youngest recipient is S. Chandrakumar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Sania Mirza.
