• Candidates must be up to the age of 55, and not more than that.
• Should be a resident of India.

AIC of India Eligibility for Actuary

• The candidate applying for Actuary must be a Fellow member at the Institute of Actuaries of India or of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom, adhering to the Actuaries act of 2006.
• Must have passed a specialized subject in General Insurance. 
• Must adhere to all the regulations and requirements laid down by the IRDAI for recruitment to the post of Appointed Actuary. 
• Must have seven years of experience in General Insurance. Two years out of the seven should be after fellowship experience.
• Must have an experience of a year after a fellowship in the annual statutory valuation of a general insurer.
• Must be a resident of India.
• Must not be more than 62 years.
