“Encouraging India’s diverse cultural heritage!” “Today, the Southern Railway becomes the first zone to get its first Registered service provider under the ‘Bharat Gaurav’ Scheme and begins operations of the maiden service from Coimbatore North to Sainagar Shirdi,” the Ministry of Railways said on Twitter.
According to an Indian Railways release, the train, which will be operated by a private operator – South Star Rail in this case – under the scheme, will depart from Coimbatore North every Tuesday at 6 pm and arrive in Shirdi at 7:25 am on Thursdays. It will leave Shirdi at 7:25 a.m. every Friday and arrive in Coimbatore North at 12 p.m. on Saturdays.
