Every year, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) announces recruitment opportunities for constable, Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno), and constable positions. To be considered for the job, applicants need to pass the CRPF Constable Physical Standards Test(PST) as well as the Written Test. Contrary to other military roles, the Physical Test of the CRPF does not include running, high jump, or any other physical activities. Nevertheless, applicants must meet pre-defined physical standards such as chest measurement and height, which vary depending on the category and region.
