DRDO Graduate Engineer Recruitment: Educational Qualification
- Graduate Engineer Apprentice: First Class Engineering Degree (full-time course) in the corresponding discipline with at least a 6.3 CGPA (relaxed to a minimum of 5.3 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD applicants, and relaxation applies exclusively for reserved posts).
- Diploma Apprentice: First Class Diploma in Engineering (full-time study) in the particular discipline with 60% marks (reduced to 50% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates; relaxation is solely applicable to reserved candidates).

DRDO Graduate Engineer Recruitment: Pay Scale
Candidates who are ultimately chosen for the apprentice positions will be paid the stipend listed below.

Duration of Training: The training will be for a period of 12 months as per Apprentices Act 1961. Certificate of Proficiency will be issued to pass candidates after 12 months from the date of execution of the contract.
DRDO Graduate Engineer Recruitment: Selection Process
- The marks obtained in the corresponding discipline qualifying examination will be used to determine selection.
- The final merit list would be created based on the marks achieved by the candidates in the written examination in the categories General/SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified to appear in a written examination following the evaluation of their online applications.
- The offline test will include general thinking, English, math, and subject-specific questions.
- The shortlisted individuals will be hired for apprenticeship training if they pass the national medical exam and the police verification.
