Gondwana University and Other Exam News

One common question asked by many students is whether there any interviews in the SSC CGL recruitment process. The answer is that currently, there are no interviews in the SSC CGL selection process. Before 2016, there was an interview round for grades (B, C, & D). However, following a notice on January 1, 2016, the interview for these grades was canceled, and SSC removed the interview section from the selection process.

Instead, SSC introduced a new stage of selection called the Tier-III examination for the SSC CGL exam, a descriptive type of exam. Candidates are required to pass Tiers I and II before taking the Tier III exam. As a result, there are no interviews for any of the SSC CGL grades.

This change in the selection process has increased the number of marks and reduced the number of topics that candidates need to prepare for. Previously, candidates had to study a wide range of topics from current to old general awareness, not knowing where the interviewer might ask questions. However, candidates only need to prepare around 25-30 topics likely to be covered in the descriptive exam.
