The Karnataka Examination Authority launched the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2023 registration process on March 2nd. The KCET 2023 application form is available on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in. The deadline for submitting the form is April 5th, and the last date to pay the application fee is April 7th. The KCET examination for admission to professional courses is scheduled for May 20th and 21st, and the Kannada Language Examination will take place on May 22nd. The exam for professional courses will be conducted in two shifts, from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:50 pm.

Educational Qualification

The educational credentials required for each of the KCET programs vary. All of them are mentioned below.

Architecture Course (B.Arch)

  • Passed an examination at the end of the 2nd PUC/ 12th Std./ 10+@ scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects OR Passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject OR
  • Appear in the above-mentioned exams and will be able to submit the results after the admission process is completed.

Engineering / Technology Courses (B.E. / B.Tech)

Passed the 2nd PUC/ 12th Std./ Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for SC, ST, CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) in Physics and Mathematics, as well as Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer.

Farm Science Courses

Passed the 2nd PUC/ 12th Std./ Equivalent exam with optional Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology courses.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)

  • Passed 2nd PUC/ 12th Std. with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English courses (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category students).
  • In the case of B.V.Sc. and AH, merit will be calculated using 50% of the marks obtained in CET (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and 50% of the marks obtained in the practical test.

B-Pharma

  • Passed the second year of secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and earned a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology courses. OR
  • Passed the Diploma in Pharmacy Examination with a minimum of 45% marks from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. (40% for applicants in the SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories)

After registration, applicants must fill out the application form. They should use the username and password they created while registering. The procedure to complete the KCET Application Form is as follows.
