The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous body that manages the Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), a system of central government schools in India. How to become a KVS teacher?
To become a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya, one must first fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria which include nationality, age, educational qualifications, and teaching experience (if any). A KVS teacher must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in their Masters’s degree from a recognised university. They must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR.
A minimum of two years of teaching experience is required for a KVS teacher. However, those with more experience will be preferred.
