MHADA Junior Engineer Recruitment Notification 2022

Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority(MHADA) has released notification for the post of Junior Engineer(JE) under the stream of Civil Engineering for 119 vacancies. The eligible candidates can start the registration process from 17th September 2021.

• Eligible candidates can apply through the official website till 14th October 2021.
• MHADA recruits eligible candidates through an offline exam followed by documents verification.
• The offline exam is scheduled to be conducted in December (from 12th Dec to 20th Dec).
• For the selected candidates (based on the merit list) there will be a probation period of 2 years.
• Final selected candidates will be paid with a pay scale level of S-14 Rs. 38,600 – Rs. 1,22,800.
• Knowledge of the Marathi language will be mandatory for all eligible candidates.

Step 1: Click on the link provided.

Step 2: Proceed to Registration.

Step 3: Enter your basic details like name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, etc., for completing the registration process.

Step 4: After completion of registration, move to the application form part and provide all the required details such as educational qualifications, address for communication, etc.

Step 5: Upload the scanned copies of required documents in the format mentioned in the application form

Step 6: Pay the application fee by one of the payment modes mentioned in the application.

Step 7: Recheck the details and submit the application and also download the application form for future reference.

MHADA Junior Engineer 2022 Application Fee Details:

Eligible candidates need to pay the application fee as per their category. Category wise application fee details of MHADA Junior Engineer recruitment 2021 are as follows,

MHADA Junior Engineer Selection Procedure:

• MHADA recruiting candidates by conducting an offline exam consisting of 200 questions for 200 marks.
• Candidates need to get a minimum of 45% of the total marks of the exam to qualify for the exam and to get on the merit list.
• Candidates selected in the merit list need to go through the final step that is document verification.
• After document verification, the list of selected candidates will be provided on the official website of MHADA.

MHADA Junior Engineer Eligibility Criteria:

All the interested candidates need to refer to the eligibility criteria mentioned by MHADA before going for the registration process. Every candidate needs to satisfy the eligibility criteria in the form of educational qualifications, domicile, age limit, etc.

Educational Qualification:

• A candidate with successful completion of a Diploma in Civil/Architecture Engineering from any recognized university or institution is eligible for this notification.
• Knowledge of the Marathi language will be mandatory for all eligible candidates.
• The candidate should also have computer knowledge and must get either an A/B/C/O/CCC level certificate from DOEACC OR MS-CIT certification within 2 years from appointment.

Age limit:

As per the official notification provided by the MHADA for any eligible candidate the age should be between 18 to 38 years. And MHEDA also mentioned the age relaxation details in the notification. Category wise age relaxation details are as follows:

Residence: 

The candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra state.

1. Mechanics: simple stress and strain relationship, simple bending theory, slopes and deflection, buckling of the column.
2. Construction Materials: Building stones, Bricks and Tiles, Cement, Lime, Timber, and Wood-based products, Paints, and varnishes, Metals.
3. Building Construction: Brick Masonry, Stonemasonry, Walls, Mortars and Concretes, Form Work and scaffolding, Damp Proofing, Arches and Lintels, Doors and Windows, Roofs, Floors, Stairs, Surface Finishes and Building Planning.
4. Elements of Steel Structure Design: Tension Members, Compression Members, Structural Steel and Sections, Structural Steel Connections.
5. Estimating and Costing: Buildings, Analysis of Rates, Valuation.
6. Concrete Technology: Ingredients of Concrete, Properties of Concrete, Water Cement Ratio, Workability, Form Work.
7. Surveying: Chain Surveying, Campus Surveying, Levelling theodolite traversing, Plane Table Surveying, Curves.
8. Elements of R.R.C. Design: Reinforcement Materials, Theory of R.C.C. Beams, Columns and Slabs, Basic elements of Prestressed Concrete.
9. Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering: Soil Classification, Soil Exploration, Stability of slopes, Bearing Capacity, Foundation – Shallow and Deep.
10. Internet Basics.

MHADA Junior Engineer 2022 Pay Scale:

• Final selected candidates will be paid with a pay scale level of S-14 Rs. 38,600 – Rs. 1,22,800
• As per the Maharashtra pay matrix for level S-14 the basic pay is Rs.38,600/-.
• Minimum Increment for each index is Rs. 1,200/-
• There will be overall 40 indexes are there in level S -14, which leads the maximum salary to Rs. 1,22,800
• As per the level, S-14 grade pay is Rs.4300/- and the pre-revised pay band is Rs.9,300/- – 34,800/-
