Ministry of AYUSH – Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) was established in March 1995 and renamed to Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddhas, and Homeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003, and is a division of Education. Emphasis was placed on development. Research in the fields of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddhas, and Homeopathy.
