NIRF Overall Ranking 2022 Check Top 100 Institutes List Here! On July 15, 2022, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will hold a virtual conference to announce the National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF Rankings 2022. This annual ranking of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India is based on a set of categories and subject areas. The NIRF Rankings 2022 for India will include 11 categories, including Overall, Universities, Management, Colleges, Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Architecture, and ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements). The quality of a college, university, or institute is determined by its Teaching, Learning, Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach, and Inclusivity, as well as peer perception.

Last year, IIT-Madras was ranked first in the overall educational institutes and engineering categories.
The institute came in second place in the newly introduced’ research’ category.
The framework ranks educational institutions based on five broad generic groups of parameters: Teaching, Learning, and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception (PR).
The total sum of marks assigned for each of these five broad groups of parameters is used to assign these ranks.

National Institute Ranking Framework Ranking Overall

On September 29, 2015, the Ministry of Education (MoE) (previously known as the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)) of the Government of India launched the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).

This framework describes a method for ranking institutions across the country. The methodology is based on the overall recommendations and broad understanding reached by a Core Committee established by the Ministry of Education to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions.

National Institute Ranking Framework 2022 Overall

The Hon’ble Minister of Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, released the India Rankings 2022 e-Release online. CCS University has released the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2022. IIT Madras has done it again, retaining its position as India’s top college overall. According to the NIRF Ranking, it is followed by IISC Bangalore, which is the best ranking institute in both the research and university categories. A national ranking ensures that all higher learning institutions work hard to improve their rankings. It also ensures that the institutes are not complacent and that they work harder each year to provide quality education to students. Rankings encourage better data collection within institutions, can expose pockets of institutional weakness and confirm areas of strength, and can be used to benchmark against similar institutions. Rankings motivate institutions to reconsider their mission statements. The official website contains a complete list of rankings for all top institutes.
