Odisha Police will invite online applications for 4790 Police Constable posts from 30th December 2022. The candidates will be selected through a written exam, Odisha Police Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Measurement. Odisha Police Constable Physical Test: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates planning to apply for the post of Police Constable in Odisha must check their eligibility in the recruitment notification. The candidates should be aware of the Odisha Police Constable Physical Test which will be elaborated on in this article. Candidates who qualify in the written test are invited to participate in the Odisha Police Constable Civil Physical Test ,which includes PET/PMT (Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Measurement Test) (Physical Measurement Test). The Odisha Police Constable qualification is:

• Passed 12th from a recognized educational Board.
• Must be fluent in reading and writing Odia language.

The minimum age for the Odisha Police Constable is 18 years and the maximum age is 23 years. Female candidates belonging to any category have been provided a relaxation of 5 years. Other reserved category candidates have been provided age relaxation as per the Govt rules.

Odisha Police Constable Physical Test: Selection Procedure

There are three stages in the selection process of Odisha Police Constable Recruitment. They are

• Written Exam
• Physical Standard Measurement
• Physical Efficiency Test.

Odisha Police Constable Physical Test Details has been provided for the candidates to know and proceed to the next step. The Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test are qualifying in nature and will carry no marks.

Physical Standard Measurement

The candidates must have the minimum Physical standard of height, weight and chest. Odisha Police Constable Height and Weight are given below

• There shall be a minimum of 5 cm difference between unexpanded and expanded chest.
• Relaxation in the physical standards for Group ‘D’ employees for participating in the recruitment test of Constable will be allowed as follows : Height – 3 cm, Weight – 5 kg & Chest -2 cm (Unexpanded-expanded).
• Such relaxation will be availed by the Group ‘D’ employees in respect of the physical standards prescribed for their respective categories (UR, SEBC, SC, ST).

Physical Efficiency Test

Only those candidates who qualified in the Physical Standard shall be allowed to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test.

• If a candidate fails to qualify in any of the above events, he / she shall be disqualified from the recruitment process. 
• Any grievance or complaint during the course of the Physical Standards Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test should be brought to the notice of the Chairman of the Board of the concerned district instantly on the very day before completion of the Test and the decision of the Chairman in this regard shall be final and binding. 
•  The candidates shall appear in the Physical Efficiency Test at their own risk. The Board shall not be responsible for any loss or physical damage of the candidates during the Physical Efficiency Test or any time thereafter caused due to appearing in the Physical Efficiency Test
