SSC CHSL TIER 3 Syllabus

A qualifying skill/typing test will be conducted as part of the SSC CHSL Tier 3 process.

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2022 :Exam Pattern

TIER 1 Exam Pattern

  • There will be four sections: English Comprehension for the SSC CHSL, General Awareness for the SSC CHSL, Quantitative Aptitude for the SSC CHSL, and Reasoning for the SSC CHSL.
  • Each section will include 25 questions and 50 marks total.
  • The SSC CHSL Tier I exam will have 200 total questions, each carrying two points.
  • The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam carries a negative marking policy. Giving the incorrect response to a question results in a 0.5 mark deduction across all sections.
  • For candidates with visual impairments, the exam lasts 80 minutes.

TIER 2 Exam Pattern

  • The test has a 60-minute time limit and 100 possible points.
  • Candidates with visual impairments or cerebral palsy have 80 minutes to complete the exam.
  • Writing a 200–250 word essay would be required for Paper 2.
  • Paper 2 would require you to write a letter or application that is between 150 and 200 words long.
  • For Tier 2, a score of 33% would be required to qualify.
  • The preparation of the final merit would take into account Tier 2 performance.
  • Either Hindi or English must be used to write the essay.
  • There will be no evaluation of the Hindi and English portions of the paper.
