Uber Cup Badminton – History
Between 1956 and 1957, the first Uber Cup was staged. India was eliminated from Uber Cup 2022 after losing 0–3 to the host team Thailand in the quarterfinal match. India was unable to advance to the quarterfinal tiebreaker in the match on May 12, 2022. Now that Kidambi Srikanth was playing against Jonatan Christie, all eyes were on him. With scores of 21-15, and 23-21, India also won this match, giving it its first-ever historic triumph in the Thomas Cup Championship. India is now the sixth country overall and the only one to ever win the coveted Thomas Cup as a result.
