1) Arun Jaitley
Arun Jaitley was a politician and lawyer from India. Jaitley, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, served as the Government of India’s Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs from 2014 to 2019. He was the Rajya Sabha’s Leader of the Opposition from 2009 to 2014. He was a Senior Advocate of India’s Supreme Court.
2) Bhuvan Avnindra Shankar Bam
Bhuvan Avnindra Shankar Bam is a Delhi-based Indian YouTube personality. He is well-known for his YouTube comedy channel, BB Ki Vines. Bhuvan rose to prominence as a YouTube personality through his popular channel BB ki Vines. In addition to the web series TVF Bachelors, Titu Talks, and Dhindora, he has appeared in the short film Plus Minus.
3) Kiran Bedi
Kiran Bedi is a Bharatiya Janata Party politician from India (BJP). She is currently the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, a union territory. After retiring from the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 2007, Bedi entered politics. In 1972, she became the first Indian woman to join the IPS officer ranks. She was the Director-General of the Bureau of Police Research and Development during her time with the IPS. Bedi is also well-known for her work as a social activist.
4) Anurag Kashyap
Anurag Kashyap (born September 10, 1972) is an Indian film director and actor best known for his work in Hindi cinema. He has received numerous honors, including four Filmfare Awards. In 2013, the French government awarded him the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) for his contributions to film. Kashyap got his big break as a co-writer in Ram Gopal Varma’s crime drama Satya (1998), and made his directorial debut with Paanch, which was never released in theatres due to censorship issues.
5) Krishnakumar Kunnath
Krishna Kumar Kunnath, also known as KK and Kay kay, is a multilingual singer and songwriter. He sings in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films. He sang nearly 3500 jingles before breaking into Bollywood. During the 1999 World Cup, he also performed the song “Josh of India” in support of the Indian cricket team. He made his debut in 1999.
History of Delhi University
The university was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislature, and it is important to note that the pre-independence colonial legacy and post-independence nationalistic fervor have greatly contributed to shaping the current form of being a global leader in higher education. Starting with only three colleges – St. Stephen’s, Hindu, and Ramjas – two faculties – Arts and Sciences, eight departments – English, History, Economics, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Physics, and Chemistry, and 750 students to over seven lakh students today was a huge journey in its own right.
