The notification states that the UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Date 2023 will be conducted on May 14, 2023 and the Main Exam will be held on September 23, 2023. UPPSC PCS examination is held yearly by UPPSC in order to recruit aspirants for State Civil Services and Provincial Police Service (PPS).

UPPSC PCS Pre Exam Date 2023: How To Apply?
Applicants can only apply for the PCS test online. Follow these procedures to apply online for the UPPCS Exam:
Step 1: Go to the UPPSC’s new website.
Step 2: First, use your credentials to finish the OTR Procedure and obtain your registered ID and password. Provide a genuine email address that you must remain active until the final result is declared.
Step 3: Once OTR is completed. Log in and fill out the required sections such as name, address, contact information, educational information, and so on.
Step 4: Prepare a scanned photograph and signature in accordance with the standards specified in the official notification. You must upload them when completing the form.
Step 5: Fill out and submit the Application Form.
Step 6: Print a copy of the Application Form for future reference. You can successfully submit your UPPCS Application Form by following the procedures outlined above.

UPPSC PCS Pre Exam Date 2023: Selection Process
It is anticipated that the selection process for UPPCS Recruitment in 2023 will involve three steps.
- Preliminary Examination
- Mains Examination
- Interview.
The preliminary test will be objective in nature. The Preliminary Test will have multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of two papers, each of which will last two hours.
Those who pass this test will be required to take the Mains exam. Subject questions will be included in the Mains test. The total number will be 1500, and applicants must write complete responses in this round.
The Personality Test will be the final phase of the selection process (Viva-Voce). When all papers are verified, the qualifying candidates from the final stages will be appointed to the positions. The final merit list will be released following the conclusion of the Selection Process.
UPPCS Exam Pattern 2023 (Expected)
The exam pattern for the UPPCS Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (General Recruitment/Special Recruitment) and Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer Services consists of three consecutive phases.
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choices)
- Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination)
- Viva- Voce (Personality Test)
Preliminary Examination
The UPPCS Prelims Exam will be divided into two exams, Paper I and Paper II. Both papers will be worth 200 points. Paper I, on the other hand, will contain 150 questions, while Paper II, which is qualifying in nature, will have 100 questions.

Mains Examination
