Bank Credit Suisse Collapse

Credit Suisse is a well-known Swiss investment bank. It is one of the oldest banks, having been founded in 1856. In terms of assets, Credit Suisse Group AG is the 45th largest bank in the world.

Credit Suisse has been in the news for several days due to the problems it is currently experiencing. Its stock price has dropped dramatically, and many have begun comparing the decline to the 2008 collapse of Lehman Brothers.

The shares of Switzerland's second-largest bank have dropped significantly in recent days, plunging as much as 90% from their all-time highs.

In the current calendar year 2022, its shares have lost around 60%, with a market valuation of nearly $11 billion. The market capitalization is now less than that of Indian banks such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, IndusInd Bank, and Axis Bank.
