Hindi is widely regarded as one of the most important and significant languages in India.

Hindi Diwas was first observed in India after the country's independence.

On the basis of the Indian constitution, Hindi was designated as the national language of India. September 14, 1949

On September 14, 1949, the Constituent Assembly declared Hindi written in Devanagari script to be the official language of India.

The main goal was to commemorate this day while emphasising the value of language.
