All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Students who wish to appear for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2023 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Class VI

• They must be between the ages of 10 and 12 years as of 31st March of the year of admission.
• They should have completed Class 5 from a recognized school.

Class IX

• They must be between the ages of 13 and 15 years as of 31st March of the year of admission.
• They should have completed Class 8 from a recognized school.

All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2023: Application Process

The application process for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2023 will be released in the month of October 2022. Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply for the exam through the official website of Sainik Schools Society. The last date to submit the application form will be 30/11/2022.

The candidates who have applied for the exam will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks in Class V/ VIII. They will be issued an admit card which they need to carry on the day of the exam. The written examination will be held at various centres across the country.

The syllabus for the written examination can be downloaded from the official website of the Sainik Schools Society. It will consist of objective-type questions from Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, English and General Knowledge. After qualifying in the written examination, candidates will undergo Medical Examination and Interview. The final merit list was published on the official website of the Sainik Schools Society.

• The application fee for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam is Rs. 550/- for General category candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST candidates. The application fee can be paid online mode or offline mode.

Candidates appearing for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination must bring the following original documents:

• Admit Card issued by CBSE
• Class X Marksheet and Pass Certificate
• Residence Proof (Voter ID/ Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ Domicile Certificate)
• Two recent passport-size photographs
