CRPF ASI Steno Eligibility Criteria 2023: Information

Educational Qualification:

CRPF ASI Steno qualification requires candidates to pass the 12th examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board. Those who fail to do so shall be deemed ineligible for the post. 

Age limit:

The CRPF ASI Steno age limit is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 25 years. Candidates below or above this age limit shall not be able to apply for the post, or their candidature shall be dismissed.

• Candidates must be able to type at an average speed of 80 words per minute. 
• They need to be thorough in either Hindi or English language and must be able to type either of the two languages efficiently.

CRPF ASI Steno Eligibility Criteria 2023: Selection Process

Candidates must go through a series of tests to qualify for the post of ASI Steno. These steps have been given here in detail:

Physical Standard Test:

In this test, the candidate’s physical stature, such as chest size, height and body weight, shall be taken into consideration. Candidates need to qualify for the set physical standards to be eligible.

Physical Efficiency Test:

It is primarily a qualifying examination and does not carry any marks. Candidates shall be given a series of physical tasks to complete.

Written Examination:

After the two phases, candidates shall be able to sit for the written exam, which shall consist of one paper. The paper shall consist of 100 questions carrying one mark each. The duration of the exam shall be of two hours.

Medical Examination:

Those who qualify for the above-mentioned tests shall be called for a medical exam to determine whether they are fit or unfit for the post.
