The Gujarat University, which serves more than two lakh students spread among 235 colleges, 15 recognized institutes, and 24 approved institutions, is the biggest university in the state. There are 221 P.G. Centers and 34 departments at post-graduate universities.
Gujarat University is an affiliating university for undergraduate studies and a teaching university for graduate study. The system of external exams used by the Faculties of Arts and Commerce at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is a significant aspect of this university. The purpose of the introduction of the external tests was to help students who were working and others who couldn’t afford the high expense of a university education realize their dream. - Narendra Modi
Political figure Narendra Damodardas Modi has been India’s 14th and current prime minister since 2014. From 2001 to 2014, Modi served as Gujarat’s chief minister.
