Nari Shakti Puraskar 2023 winners list: 2022

At the Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan) in New Delhi, President Ram Nath Kovind granted the Nari Shakti Puraskar on 8th March 2022 for 2020 and 2021. Nari Shakti Puraskar 2023 winners list: Eligibility

  • Individuals and organizations of all sizes are eligible for awards.
  • Individual category awardees must be over 25 on July 1st of the award year.
  • For institutions, he should have worked in the appropriate sector for more than 5 years.
  • The candidate should not have previously received the relevant prize.
  • It is given to people, institutions, groups, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for their excellent work in women’s economic and social empowerment or for connecting to the issue.
  • Encourage women to take up decision-making positions.
  • Women’s skill development in conventional and non-traditional areas is encouraged.
  • To provide rural women with necessities.
  • To concretely and significantly improve women’s safety and security, health and well-being, education, skill development, life skills, and respect for women in non-traditional domains like science and technology, sports, art, and culture.
  • The prize may also be granted to a state or union territory for improving the child-to-parent ratio (CSR).

  • Every year, the Ministry of Women and Child Development bestows the Nari Shakti Puraskar to people and institutions for women’s empowerment, particularly those supporting disadvantaged and marginalized women.
  • MWCD announces every year the Nari Shakti Puraskar awardees on February 20, and the awards are awarded on International Women’s Day, March 8.
  • The total number of prizes given (to persons and institutions) is 15. The selecting committee has the authority to approve the maximum number of relaxations.
  • Each category’s award contains a certificate and a certificate worth Rs. 2 lahks for each awardee.
