In 1997, he enrolled at Jamia Millia Islamia for his bachelor’s degree. He played in 104 tests for his country, scoring 8,586 runs at an average of 49.34. Sehwag was also a member of the Indian cricket team that won the World Cup in 2011.

8) Mohammad Najeeb Qasmi 

Is an Islamic Sunni scholar and the founder of Sambhal’s Al-Noor public school. Darul-Uloom Deoband, Jamia Milia Islamia, and Dehli University are among his alma maters. Qasmi has authored over 50 books and articles. His website was launched in Riyadh, and he writes for it. In 2015, Qasmi launched Hajj-e-Mabroor to provide authentic information about hajj and umrah.

Mohamed Ali Jauhar was named the first vice-chancellor of Jamia. Additionally, it established a syllabus subcommittee and elected a syndicate. On Friday, October 29, 1920, Maulana Mehmud Hasan, a well-known freedom fighter and Muslim theologian, laid the cornerstone of Jamia Millia Islamia in Aligarh.

Dr. Zakir Husain Library is the university’s main central library, and it houses over 400,000 artifacts, including books, microfilms, periodical volumes, manuscripts, and rare books.
