The government of India has organized a scholarship program namely, the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme for the students of classes 9th and 11th. This scheme targets the students belonging to the Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Semi-Nomadic Tribes De-notified Tribe (DNT). The students are selected based on the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment guidelines for the NTA PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme. Only those applicants are eligible for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme whose annual income of parents or guardians is not less than 2.5 lakhs, studying in identified schools. Scheme Components of NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme

The existing scheme of Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBCs students and Post-Matric Scholarship for OBCs schemes were formulated in the year 1998-99. The EBC/DNT scheme for educational empowerment came in 2014-15. The program is empowering socio-economically lagging classes, by educating the most vulnerable section of the target population. But due to the absence of a national census, the identification of the OBC/EBC/DNT community has been adversely affected and has prevented a large number of participants. Therefore, the “PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India for OBCs and others (PM –Yasasvi)” for OBC, EBC, and DNT students has been formulated having the following five sub-schemes. They are

1. Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students
2. Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students
3. Top Class School Education for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students
4. Top Class College Education for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students
5. Construction of Hostel for OBC Boys and Girls

Steps to Fill Out the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme Form 2022

The candidates can fill out the registration process through the online official web portal. The candidates need to create their accounts for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme and can then continue with the registration process. The applicants don’t need to register themselves and fill out the application process in one go. After the creation of the account, they can log in again and fill out their application. Step 1 – Open the official web portal of the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India through the National Testing Agency website.

Step 2 – Click on the register option that is mentioned in the left-hand side table.

Step 3 –  After clicking on the register option the applicants need to create their accounts for the NTA PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme. If the candidate has already created their account they can directly log in through the login option.

Step 4 – The candidates are required to enter the details such as name, email, date of birth, and password for the registration. 

Step 5 – After the successful registration process the candidates can fill out the application form.

Step 6 – The candidates are required to provide authentic information during the application process. After filling out the application form, the candidates can download it for further use.

Step 7 –  All the candidates must note down the system-generated Application Number for further use.

Eligibility Criteria for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme

To apply for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme the candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria set up by the administration board. Candidates who are not eligible cannot apply for the PM YASASVI Scheme 2022. The following mentioned prerequisites should be kept in mind before applying for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme. 

• Applicant needs to be a permanent resident of India. Only Indian residents are allowed to fill out the application form.
• NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme is available only for Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), and Semi-Nomadic Tribes De-notified Tribe (DNT).
• The annual income of the applicant’s household should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• The NTA PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme is open for both boys and girls.
• The student should have passed the eighth-grade examination so that they are eligible to sit for the tenth-grade examinations in the session of 2022.
• The applicants applying for a ninth grade must have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
• The applicants applying for an eleventh grade must have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.

Documents Required for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme

To apply for the NTA PM Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme the candidates need to provide original and authentic copies of the documents. If the candidate is providing any kind of false or duplicate document will lead to the cancellation of the application form of that particular applicant. All the documents provided by the applicant should be original and checked.

• Students applying will need to have a Grade 10 Certificate of Achievement or a Grade 8 Certificate of Achievement.
• Students applying must submit proof of income
• Eligible students must have a national identity card
• Along with this, students will also need to provide their email addresses and mobile phone number.

The NTA PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme is for the welfare of the impoverished section of society. Students belonging to the 9th and 11th classes are the key and only receivers of this scheme. • Only class 9th and 11th students studying in government schools of India can avail of this scholarship.

• The NTA PM Yasasvi Scholarship Scheme 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in 78 cities so that a large population can gain from it.
