PUC Certificate – Meaning & Objective

As a validation, a PUC certificate is necessary. It certifies that you are allowed to drive the vehicle lawfully on the roads. The proportion of carbon emissions, or the amount of pollution your vehicle may generate, is confirmed by the PUC Certificate. The Motor Vehicle Act of 1988 mandates the possession of a PUC Certificate by the Indian government. You will be fined Rs 1000 if your car does not have a valid certificate (and Rs 2000 for each additional violation). As per the IRDAI, a person also needs a valid PUC certificate to renew your vehicle insurance coverage.
