Procedure of AP POLYCET counseling 2022

The process of Andhra Pradesh POLYCET counseling consists of various stages. The detailed information on the stages of the AP POLYCET Exam is given below.

Stage 1: Registration

Candidates have to register for the online counseling and seat allotment process of AP Polycet 2022. The fee payment will also be done online. You can follow the steps below to get registered for the Counseling process. Once the candidate gets registered, they can confirm their choices on the scheduled date.

Step 1: Go to the official website 

Step 2: Click on the Counseling Registration option.

Step 3: Login with the credentials, Hall ticket number, password and date of birth.

Step 4: Fill the details and pay the necessary fee online.

Step 5: Download the counseling registration form and take a print out. 

Stage 2: Document Verification

If the candidate has registered successfully, they have to report to AP POLYCET helpline centres for document verification. For this, they will have to bring all their original documents and their photocopies at the centres. When all the documents are verified, candidates will get a ‘Receipt of Certificates’. This will signify that they have successfully completed this process.

Here is a list of documents that they need to keep handy for the document verification process.

• Proof of Date of Birth as issued by the Competent Authorities.
• Photo Identity Proof like Aadhar Card.
• Mark-sheets or certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. Proper documents from Board / University for having declared the result.
• Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates. 
• Hall ticket and scorecard of AP POLYCET Exam.

Stage 3: Option Entry

This is the process where candidates have to fill out their preferred courses and colleges during the allotted period of time. All of this will be done online on the official website. After filling out their choices, candidates have to take a print out of their Option Entry form. Candidates can also visit AP POLYCET 2022 helpline centers to get more help on the Option Entry process. 

Stage 4: Seat Allotment

After filling out their preferred college the authorities will consider the choices, category and merit rank of the candidates before releasing the final allotment list. Then the authorities will release the AP POLYCET 2022 seat allotment results. Candidates have to check which seat they have been allotted by logging in to the portal. Candidates who will be allotted the seats, have to download their AP POLYCET 2022 Seat Allotment Letters from the website. They also need to pay a fee of Rs 800 for downloading the Seat Allotment Letters. Follow this process to download your Seat Allotment Letters.

Stage 5: Reporting At The Allotted Centres And Payment Of College Fee 

Now that candidates have downloaded their AP Polycet 2022 seat allotment letters, they will have to go to the allotted college. First they have to self-report via the online system. Then they have to visit the colleges physically. In this stage, both online and physical reportings are compulsory. Then the candidates will have to pay the required college admission fee. This amount will vary from college to college. A rough estimate of the college fee can be as follows.

Process to surrender/cancel the allocated AP POLYCET seats

If candidates want to cancel out the allocated seats by the authorities due to one reason or the other, they can certainly do so. They just have to follow the process mentioned below. However, the fee paid during the first stage (registration) will be non-refundable.

Step 1: Confirm the dates of surrender on the AP POLYCET website. This will be released by the authorities for smooth functioning of the cancellation process.

Step 2: Go to the official website.

Step 3: Log in with your credentials and click on “Surrender Tab”.

Step 4: Fill in the details. Double-check them and submit the surrender form online. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

AP POLYCET Counseling 2nd Round or Spot Round

Candidates who took part in the first round of AP POLYCET counseling 2022 will be eligible for a second round also. However, the candidates have to pay the processing fee, and verify their documents beforehand. They will have to complete it before the final date. They will follow the same process as mentioned above. They will fill choices in the order of preference by logging in using the required credentials. The seats will be allotted in the same manner (that is based on the candidate’s rank, preferences and seat availability). In the end, the selected candidates have to self-report online and then confirm their admission before the final date offline. The authorities can also do a spot round of counseling if further seats are left after the second round.
