The individuals who wish to submit an application for the post of Assistant Professor must possess an MBBS degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks and must have completed their post-graduation in Medical Science/Dental Science/Pharmacy with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university. The candidates must also have valid registration with Telangana Medical Council/Telangana State Dental Council/Telangana Pharmacy Council.
Age Limit:
Assistant Professors may not be older than 44 as of July 1, 2022. In accordance with governmental regulations, age restrictions are applicable to reserved groups.
Age Relaxations:
However, the upper age limit is lowered in the following circumstances:

- The maximum number of points that can be given for passing the qualifying exam is 80.
- For contracted or outsourced work at state government hospitals, institutions, or programs, up to 20 points may be given.
