Para SF Commando Salary: Probation Period
All the aspirants, who will join the Parachute Regiment will have a probationary period with the following rules in their separate units:
- Bns PARA: 90 days
- PARA (SF) Bns: 180 days, including extra training.
If any rank fails to meet the probationary requirements, they will return to their original regiment. Once the probationary period is completed successfully, all ranks must undertake a Para Basic course at the PTS in Agra, after which they will become permanent members of the Parachute Regiment. However, if any rank chooses not to jump, they will be returned to their original regiment.
After the probationary period is successfully completed, the PARA (SF) battalions will work with The Parachute Regiment’s Record Office to permanently enlist the individual. The respective unit or record office will submit all the required documents to The Parachute Regiment Record Office.
