PICT has a high placement rate with top companies such as Microsoft, UBS, TCS, PhonePe, L&T, Yahoo, Barclays, and many others. In 2017-18, 66 percent of students were placed, but the following year, 82 percent were placed, and in 2019-2020, 84 percent of students were placed.
Pune Institute of Computer Technology (or PICT) is an unaided private engineering college in Dhankawadi, Pune, India. The Society for Computer Technology and Research, SCTR, founded it in 1983.
A large number of students are given internship and pre-placement opportunities. Many ‘Fortune 500’ companies come to campus to applaud our students. The T&P Cell at PICT has consistently maintained high placement rates over the years and is constantly striving to achieve greater heights.
The PICT hostels in Pune are well-equipped and accommodate both boys and girls. Other hostels and PG facilities are also located near the campus building. About 2-3 students share a room, and the mess facilities are adequate.
The campus life at PICT Pune is excellent. There are numerous student organisations, such as PICT ROBOCON and PICT ART CIRCLE, that will keep you busy. Aside from that, the canteen facilities have been upgraded with high-quality food. Placements are also effective. Furthermore, PICT hosts a cultural festival called “Addiction,” where students can showcase their talents.
