Ramendra Nath Biswas is an Indian politician, Member of Legislative Assembly From Kalyani, Nadia in the Indian state of West Bengal.

He is the dean of research and consultancy at the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, and a developmental biologist and biotechnologist from India. Chattopadhyay, who is recognized for his research on the molecular underpinnings of light-controlled plant growth and development, is a J. C. Bose National Fellow of the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and a nominated fellow of all three of India’s major science academies: the Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences, and National Academy of Sciences, India. For his contributions to the biosciences in 2005, the Department of Biotechnology of the Government of India presented him with the National Bioscience Award for Career Development, one of the top Indian science prizes.

An Indian inorganic chemist and former vice chancellor of Tezpur University. He is a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy and the Indian Academy of Sciences and is well known for his research on the synthesis of dioxygen complexes and fluorine compounds of metals and non-metals. He received the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the greatest Indian science awards, in 1989 for his contributions to the chemical sciences from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the top organisation of the Government of India for scientific research.

Arijit Singh is an Indian singer and composer who was born on April 25, 1987. Although he has performed in many other Indian languages, he primarily sings in Bengali and Hindi, which are his native tongues. He has received six Filmfare Awards and a National Award.

He is an organometallic chemist and a Professor of chemical sciences at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Kolkata. He received the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest science honours in India, for his contributions to chemical sciences in 2018 from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the top scientific research organisation of the Government of India. He received the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award in 2020 from the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Foundation in Germany in honor of his remarkable contributions to research. He received Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science’s Erna and Jakob Michael Visiting Professorship in 2022.
