Eligibility condition for the post of Assistant Director (Vigilance) is: 

  • Holding analogous post on regular basis (Substantive Post); or 
  • With three (03) years’ regular service in the Pay Band 2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-(Rs. 6500-200-10500-pre-revised); or 
  • equivalent or With seven (07) years’ regular service in the Pay Band 2 (Rs. 9300-34800) with
  • Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-(Rs. 5500-175-9000-pre-revised); or 
  • Equivalent and Possessing three years experience of dealing with disciplinary/Vigilance cases in a responsible capacity.

Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2022 – Selection Procedure

Within 30 days after the date of the advertisement, willing and qualified officers may submit their applications, neatly typed in the proforma provided in Annexure-I, to the designated officer in the HRM Division. The candidate must include a note explaining why they believe they are qualified for the position.

Certification Required for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2022

Within 45 days of the date the advertisement was published, the cadre controlling authority must forward the application, complete in every way, along with the necessary paperwork, including the APARS, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, and a list of any penalties imposed in the previous ten years.

Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2022 – General terms and conditions 

  • The tenure of the deputation will initially be for a period of three (03) years. The deputation will be governed according to the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel & Training from time to time as well as the provisions of the Recruitment Rules of the appropriate cadre. For such equivalent posts, the Central Government’s regulations will tightly manage the issue of compensation and benefits. Officers whose pay and benefits are subject to Central Government regulations, including GPF Regulations, shall be given preference. The candidates should actually hold the equivalent position. If it is deemed essential, agreement of the terms and conditions of appointment provided by the Employees Provident Fund Organization shall also be a condition of the appointment in the EPO. On the last day for applications to be received, the applicant’s age cannot exceed 56 years.
  • No Transfer TA/DA will be paid upon repatriation if the chosen official requests it before serving his or her two-year mission. Additionally, if any official requests to return home in a year or less. Any already paid transfer TA/DA is also subject to reimbursement.
  • In order to perform inspections of the numerous Regional Offices under its Zonal jurisdiction, tours away from the Headquarters are part of the duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Director (Vigilance).
