MPSC STI Promotion

In Maharashtra Public Service Commission STI If you want to have a promotion after joining you have to work for at least 4 years or it will be based on the official notification that the department of STI releases from time to time. To reach the class 1 post first you have to become State Tax Officer (Group B) then Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes (Group A) and lastly Deputy Commissioner of State Taxes (Group A). It will take time to become Grade A employee.

MPSC STI Job Profile

Tax Inspectors in the state typically serve a two-year probationary period. Applicants must complete their probation period in order to be considered for a good position with the MPSC. Applicants must work hard and exercise extreme caution throughout this phase in order to gain permanent employment with the MPSC.

A State Tax Inspector is in charge of a variety of tasks. The following are some of the most common responsibilities of a State Tax Inspector.

  • Handle a wide range of tax-related issues.
  • Cases involving the failure of dealers/vendors to pay sales tax are handled.
