SSC CHSL 2023 Notification: Eligibility Criteria
All aspirants with their sights set on SSC CHSL 2023 must adhere to all eligibility requirements established by the SSC Commission. Before applying, candidates are urged to review the requirements for education, age, physical standards, and other factors to ensure they are qualified for the positions. Nationality of the Candidate
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- A refugee from Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and who intends to remain there permanently.
- If a candidate is a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, the Indian government must issue a Certificate of Eligibility in their favour.
Educational Qualifications of the Candidate
The educational requirements change depending on the position an applicant is applying for. According to the position sought for, the required education is as follows:
- The fundamental prerequisite is a pass diploma from a recognised university or board in class 12th.
- Candidates for the position of DEO at the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) must have studied science and mathematics as their two core subjects in class twelve.
- Candidates who are enrolled in 12th grade may also apply as long as they submit documentation of their academic credentials and proof of enrollment from their school or university.

Step 2: Log in using your login information, complete the captcha, and click Login on the SSC homepage.
Step 3: After login in, move to the Apply Now button and select the SSC CHSL under the examinations tab
Step 4: Locate the apply now button under the SSC CHSL Exam tab and click it.
Step 5: Complete the SSC CHSL Exam Application Form by selecting your exam location and entering all the necessary information.
Step 6: Double- or triple-check the information after entering it because SSC will not accept changes made after the final submission.

SSC CHSL Notification 2023: Procedure of Selection
The SSC CHSL selection procedure will include a Computer Based Test of Two Tiers of Exams, which is how the Commission chooses the candidates.
- Tier-I
- Tier-II (Also includes Skill Test /Typing Test)

Candidates who meet the requirements for Tiers 1 and 2 will be permitted to take the exam for the skill test and typing test.
The Tier 1 exam is made up of multiple-choice questions from each of the four categories. To be qualified for Tier 2, candidates must get the minimum qualifying marks in each section.
The Tier 2 test is a descriptive paper that requires applicants to produce essays, letters, applications, and precis. The qualifying mark for this paper is 33%. Tier 2 exams also comprise a talent test for candidates applying for the position of Data Entry Operator and a typing test for individuals applying for the position of Lower Division Clerk. This is in accordance with the revised exam format issued for the 2022-23 school year. Candidates must pass this exam in order to be considered for the position.
