She claims that everyone is familiar with the attire from Himachal, but she also wanted people to be aware of the attire from Uttarakhand when giving a speech while dressed in traditional Pahari garb.
Thus, she considered making a speech while wearing nothing but her traditional attire. Together with customary clothing, she purchased jewelry for this. She claims that before watching YouTube videos for two days straight, she had no idea how to tie a saree the Pahari way and had to master this skill.
