Transport Allowance (TA)

Employees who work in cities receive Rs. 3600 as transport allowance, while those who work in other places receive Rs. 1800 as transport allowance. This allowance is provided to help employees with their commuting expenses to and from work.
Dearness Allowance (DA)
Dearness Allowance (DA) is an allowance provided to employees to help them cope with the increase in the cost of living due to inflation. As per the current SSC CHSL Salary structure, the Dearness Allowance is 17% of the employee’s basic pay, as per the 7th Pay Commission. In October 2019, the union cabinet increased the Dearness Allowance to 17% of the employee’s basic pay. This increase in the DA helps employees to maintain their standard of living despite rising prices.
Leave Travel Concession (LTC)
Central Government employees are provided with a Leave Travel Concession (LTC) allowance, which covers their travel expenses when they visit their hometown or travel to other parts of the country.
